Register for the FREE SHSAT Mock Exam
This event is free and open to all 7th graders, regardless of whether you are currently an A+ student. Invite your classmates and friends to join! There are online and in-person options for both days. The location of the mock exam varies based on the day.

Sherry Yan Scholarship: Due 5/20/2024
2024 will be the 9th year of the Sherry Yan SHSAT Scholarships for Exemplary Teens. These scholarships have been created in an effort to provide more opportunities for high-achieving rising 8th graders to receive test preparation services for the SHSAT exam and ultimately be able to get into a specialized high school of their choice. We will be dedicating 10 scholarships in the amounts of $1000 (1 applicant), $500 (3 applicants) and $200 (6 applicants) towards SHSAT tuition from A+ Academy for either the summer or fall of 2024 program. Through these scholarships, we hope to identify motivated, high achieving students who could really make the best use of this opportunity. We recognize the importance of getting into a good high school for the students in our community and hope to provide that opportunity to those who would otherwise not be able to receive it. These scholarships are open to all 7th graders.
To apply, please click on the link below and fill out the required fields. Please note that an essay will be required as part of the application. Upon review of the essays, a group of finalists will be chosen and invited for a short interview and to participate in our SHSAT entrance exam. The interview and entrance exam scores will ultimately determine scholarship winners. Application deadline is May 20th.
Scholarships will be announced on June 21st.
